A boutique practice with the
insight of a large firm
RAS Accountants & Business Advisors is led by Raheel Hasan, FCCA, who brings 17+ years of professional accounting experience across audit, tax and advisory work in UK practice.
The firm was built around five commitments, and they are not decoration. Excellence is the baseline: accounts, returns and audit files prepared to the standard of a large practice, because that is where the standard was learned. Long-term relationships are the point of the exercise — we would rather be the firm you call before a decision than the one tidying up afterwards.
Commercial candour means you get the straight answer, including the one you were not hoping for. Being future-focused means planning around where your business is heading rather than reporting on where it has already been. And being tech-driven — cloud ledgers, sensible automation and the discipline to keep them tidy — is what buys back the time to do the first four properly.

Founder & Principal
Raheel Hasan
Founder & Principal, FCCA
Raheel founded RAS Accountants & Business Advisors after more than 17 years in UK practice, spanning audit, statutory accounts, tax and advisory work for owner-managed businesses. He qualified with ACCA in 2012, following a BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University, and has since worked across the full range of practice disciplines — from corporation tax, VAT and management accounts through to leading audit engagements on site. His client experience spans property, retail, professional services, healthcare and manufacturing, including companies with complex group structures. He brings a strong technical streak to the work, combining cloud platforms such as Xero, Sage and QuickBooks with today's AI tools to automate routine compliance — because efficient compliance is what creates the room for genuine advice.
Usman Azam
Chartered Certified Accountant & Chartered Tax Adviser
Usman is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser with over a decade of experience advising individuals, owner-managed businesses, property investors and entrepreneurs on complex UK tax matters. Having worked at Top 5 UK accountancy firms, he brings extensive expertise across personal tax, corporate tax, property tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, business restructures, HMRC enquiries and tax planning. His approach is to provide clear, professional and pragmatic advice that helps clients understand their position, manage risk and structure their affairs efficiently while remaining fully compliant.

ACCA Member
Syed is an experienced ACCA member with more than 12 years in practice in the UK, alongside considerable experience in the Retail, Procurement and Fit-Out industry within the UAE market. He combines technical accountancy expertise with a strong commercial perspective.
